ABOUT

LA’TONYA FRAZIER-GOATLEY is the Advance Program/Gifted Coordinator for Jefferson County Schools. She is a KAGE Board Member, and has served an elementary primary classroom teacher, elementary math lab teacher, instructional coach, and adjunct faculty member for the University of Louisville’s gifted and talented department. Ms. Frazier-Goatley’s passion includes diversifying the gifted and talented population by integrating culturally responsive teaching and collaborating to determine ways to remove barriers from gifted programming in public education. She is the author of a chapter in Telling Our Stories: Culturally Different Adults Reflect on Growling Up in Single-Parent Families (2017, Vanderbilt University).
