KAGE Conference 2018 Jennifer Sheffield



Jennifer Sheffield is a STEAM/Gifted and Talented Consultant and Grant Writer with Green River Regional Education Cooperative (GRREC).  She was instrumental in the creation of 212 Academy, a STEAM Enrichment program for gifted 5th & 6th grades at Warren County Public Schools. Jennifer is the featured G/T teacher in the 11th edition of Exception Children: An Introduction to Special Education, and was chosen a 2016 Kentucky Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). She has taught in Warren, Oldham, and Jefferson County Schools. Prior to becoming an educator, she spent over a decade working in the construction industry. Jennifer is passionate about fostering creativity and innovation in students and is especially interested in integrated curriculum project-based learning and the development of Makerspaces in educational settings.
