The Kentucky Advisory Council for Gifted and Talented Education and Kentucky Department of Education have compiled a handbook of articles and other resources of interest to educators and families of gifted children. The handbook is intended to aid in the implementation of gifted and talented services that districts provide to Kentucky’s gifted students. To read about and download this resource click here and THANK YOU to the council members who have worked so hard on this handbook!

Some of the information in the document has passed from teacher to teacher for many years, so the original source is no longer known. The Advisory Council Committee responsible for compiling the information has made every attempt to document sources. If you know of a missing source for a document, please let the Committee know.

This is a working document and will be revised and updated as needed.

Please note that KAGE provides this handbook as a source of information only. No endorsement is intended or made of any link, product, service, or information either by its inclusion or exclusion from this handbook. While all attempts are made to insure the correctness and suitability of information, no representation or guarantee can be made as to the correctness or suitability of that information or any linked information presented, referenced, or implied.
